What is your pricing?
I am a firm believer in being upfront about my pricing, that being said I want to know what your expectations in price are first so that we can start a discussion on the price I operate hourly. Contact me and I will let you know exactly what my prices are hourly and you can decide what works best for you regarding price and amount of coverage. Short story is that I start at $700 and offer coverage at a minimum of 2 consecutive hours.
Do you edit all of our photographs?
Yes. That is the short answer. I import all of your photographs to my editing software and then take time to cull through them to narrow down the photographs to those I deem deliverable.That means they are both technically exceptional as well have emotional merit. If I take 3000 photos on your wedding day, odds are that a quarter of them will make the cut, because there are several similar images that are practically identical. I will go through them and make sure the ones that make the cut are the very best and each of those will be individually edited and retouched.
Where do you live and how far will you travel?
I live and operate out of Vernon BC. Being a Okanagan resident I will travel anywhere in the vicinity to help you document your wedding day. Locations outside of Kelowna, Winfield, Vernon, Lumby and Armstrong will not be charged for travel. Weddings outside of those zones will factor in a cost of .50 cents per mile to help with the cost of filling my tank. If you live in the Fraser Valley or Vancouver area the cost of travel or air travel will be factored in or if you would like to look into airfare I am totally open to your participation in providing travel and accomodation.
We want to take pictures in a super cool location on our wedding day. Do we need a permit?
Yes. If the location is private property or goverment property you may need to ask for special permissions or a physical permit to do so. Some couples have special connections or work for the company and in that case I would expect you to make the steps to make sure you and I are adhering to their enforced laws. IF it is a public place that is open to the public it may not need special permissions, but I can look into local law.
Do we receive the raw, unedited files?
No. As a photographer I require the Raw files to edit your photos. If you want to have the raw files for long term storage and safe keeping I will have an additional option to purchase a password protected ZIP file. This file will contain the entire folder of RAW files but you will not retain permission to edit or alter the photos, you will be able to reach out to me in the future if you want a re-edit of your photos (however the editing time will be at additional charge),

What if we want to order extra prints? How does that work?
Prints aren’t included in my standard hourly coverage but I do provide each client with a complimentary print consultation. I will bring the pricing guide as well as custom grid layouts for your consideration. Prints, Canvas Gallery Wraps, and Deluxe Albums are all products I offer, all printed through a renowned Italian Printing Company.
